A total of 1200W of halogen was pointed up at the ceiling and
reflected onto the subject while a 90W bulb lit the background
to remove shadows. the background was a coarse weave linen like
material to give texture when visible, with some black fabric
in the foreground to eliminate reflection off the background
that was causing a glare on one of the facets of the gun.
The drop was held up by stacks of canned fooed and secured
with more canned food.
